Owing to the French Painting in 1950's. We can see that the colour usage of the late 40's to early 50's is in dull colour shade, either in black and white, or greyish colour. This is the reason why that Christian Dior put the Cygne Noir evening gown, which is in black silk, in the A/W Ligne Millier Su Siecle.
